Don Engel is an Assistant Vice President for Research at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Don has previously worked as a physicist, computer scientist, congressional staffer and consultant to various federal agencies. Don holds a PhD in Physics, a master's degree in Computer Science, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
In his spare time, Don is an active member of the local community and a software developer. Active software development projects include ShowMe3D, a pair of apps for Mac and iOS that can be used to take and view 3D photos, and When2meet, a free web-based tool for finding the best time for a group to meet.
